It touched my heart to see Wajih working on a painting. Not far from the age of 80 at that time he danced in his own rhythm back and forth just to keep in flow for moving the brush on the canvas the next time. He told me that he was born in Beirut in 1932, but lived for many years in Paris. His paintings are shown in the Grand Palais in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tunisia. I was very sad when I heard, that this great artist and nice person died in February 2017.
